A NEW LANGUAGE
Telfar Social Campaign: Runway Cadet
Telfar will post on its social media accounts about an exciting prospect. But the contents of the message, written in Telfarese. A language that would need to be deciphered as a community back into English. The instructions on what the campaign will outline, will need to be deciphered. And they will mention the following:
The Instructions
Telfar’s post (on Instagram with the instructions), will direct followers to their TikTok to build an audience, increase engagement, and utilize TikTok’s signature feature, the “stitch.”
Telfar will provide the first 30 seconds of a runway video, along with a sound. TikTok users will be asked to stitch the video to complete a walk down an imaginary runway; touting their best fits and alongside their favorite Telfar bag.
Tik Tok users will also be asked to include a caption, ten words or less, that describes how it feels to wear their fits and be a part of such an experience; and add the hashtag #newlanguage #notforyouforeveryone
And here is the exciting part:
NYFW
For NYFW 2022, Telfar will select those with the best walks to be a part of their show, both physically and holographically.
Before the models walk, the captions they wrote will be highlighted to set the mood.
Telfar will stream its event live on all its platforms for the community to experience in real time. Comments made on the stream will be projected on the walls as the show is under way, bringing everyone a part of the Telfar community together.
